Whole Home Renovation and Addition

This project is a transformative whole house renovation / addition we completed for a multigenerational family in Austin’s Rollingwood neighborhood. The house was designed around a family of four and grandparents from one side of the family so they could all live together in a singular dwelling designed around their needs.

 The core of the design is an expanded central entry vestibule with a featured floating glass stair,  a generous receiving room and a supporting sequence of both primary and secondary spaces for gathering.  We further developed the street facing portion of the property with a processional pedestrian entry from the street flanked by a front yard pool terrace and outdoor living space.
